It is one of the few buildings that partially survived the attack. Another building, the former Industrial Promotion Hall has been included in UNESCO world heritage site. Hiroshima Castle- This rebuilt castle had been completely destroyed by the atomic bomb. Historically this castle date back to 1589 which, (after the concrete reconstruction in 1958) now houses a beautiful museum.
